Welcome to the website of Roger Shanks, New Zealand-based artist.
Roger is an artist who has painted in watercolour since 1996 developing a fairly relaxed style while retaining an eye for detail and a great respect for the natural qualities of the medium. He has toured in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, gathering material and inspiration. Has been doing predominantly oil painting over the last few years.
